Sertaconazole Nitrate is a topical antifungal agent belonging to the imidazole class. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thereby disrupting fungal cell integrity and leading to fungal cell death.

Mechanism
